Some families choose to leave their dogs at a vet when they are away whether on a trip or for work purposes. There is nothing wrong with that because not everyone is capable of taking their dogs with them. Now, one Pennsylvania family surely regrets their decision to leave their dog at the vet while they were on a trip to Mexico. The vet quickly ruined the trip by informing the family on their first day away that they had lost their dog. The people at the vet decided to take the dog for a walk on a slip lead and then they lost him. You might think that it isn’t the vet’s fault, but it is. The owner shared that they specifically told the vet not to walk their dog because of how anxious he could get.
After the Pennsylvania family returned home, they started doing what they could in hopes of finding their lost dog. For example, they passed flyers to places near where their pet was last seen. They also shared the news on Facebook and informed the police as well. Another terrible thing here is that the vet isn’t helping that much. The only thing they did was to have a trail cam out and a humane trap. It was when the family decided to ask them if they were searching for him that the vet told them they were still trying to bring in people. So they lost the dog and aren’t helping the family. Imagine being that terrible of a vet.
People Reacting to the Pennsylvania Family Losing Their Dog
People, just like the Pennsylvania family, expressed outrage at how careless the vet was. Immediately, several people recommended that the family sue the place. “Yeah I’d lawyer up. It’s inexcusable that they lost your dog. Hopefully someone spotted them. With this rain must be horrid out there. Poor thing,” one person wrote. This made someone reply in agreement and say, “All the things I could sue for I would just to make sure that they get what they deserve. If you lose my family then I will drag you through lawsuits and public scrutiny by telling the local news what they did and how they ignored my instructions when I told them it’s to much of a risk.”
Someone else expressed how mad they were on behalf of the Pennsylvania family. “Holy f**king shit. You’re telling me this vet ignored your instructions, lost your dog, and then absolutely punted any and all efforts to find him? I am livid on your behalf,” they wrote. Another person expressed a dark outlook, wondering if the dog was ever lost in the first place. “I hate to say it but the lack of effort to find him makes me wonder if he was truly lost…,” they said.
There was a small glimmer of hope as someone shared, “I posted the pictures on Instagram and one of my friends said they saw him running towards cherry hill orchards, but this was last Wednesday. She actually tried to catch him but couldn’t. Keep your head up. Hopefully someone will find him or turn him in. I’ll keep my eye out for sure!” Let’s hope that the family will manage to find their dog in the end.
