New Gamemodes

The much-awaited Team Deathmatch mode is finally coming to Apex as a limited-time mode. Players will play 6v6 matches and can only squad up with three teammates. The best of the three rounds will win the match. A permanent rotating LTM playlist called Mixtape will also arrive on March 7, featuring favorite limited-time modes like Team Deathmatch, Control, and Gun Run.

Class System

Apex Legends is reworking its class system to give each Legend a specific Class role, along with exclusive perks. The Classes are Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support.

New Weapon

A new weapon, the Nemesis, is being added to the energy class. It is a burst assault rifle that fires four rounds per burst, with the ability to continuously fire by holding down the trigger. The longer the trigger is held, the faster the rounds fire, and the weapon stays charged for a brief time after firing.

Beginner-Friendly Match System

To make the game more accessible to new players, Apex Legends is introducing a new orientation match system. This queue includes basic tutorials on mechanics, movement, and weapons. Also, it includes bots in the battle royale matches to give new players a feel for the game before playing against complete players.
