Apex Legends has announced the newest season will begin February 4. Season 4 will include a new battle pass, weapon, and an all-new character to play.
The biggest change coming to Season 4 of Apex Legends is its newest character, Revenant. Revenant is a cyborg assassin that many saw teased in the previous Apex trailer where he killed rumored playable character, Forge.
In the trailer, we see a hitman prepare to take out a target having a meal with his family. A cyborg then destroys the restaurant, taking out the target to then reveal that this cyborg was the same hitman we saw earlier.
While Revenant’s abilities are not entirely known yet, leaks have revealed what his talents might be. They hint at Revenant using poison attacks and climbing faster, as well as an ability to save enemies from being killed or downed.
The newest weapon for the game is Sentinel, a bolt-action sniper rifle. Not only is the Sentinel a powerful weapon, but it can be powered with shields to do extra damage to enemy players with shields.
Lastly, Season 4 will feature an all-new battle pass. The battle pass will come with a variety of items to earn, including music packs, XP boosts, and more.
Also, when you purchase the battle pass for Season 4, you will earn exclusive legendary weapon and character skins. The new skins have not been announced, but when the update comes out, the new skins will come to light.
Season 4 Brings Updates to Apex Maps
New updates will also come to the maps in Apex Legends. For the update, from February 3 to March 23, the game will be on the World’s Edge map and shift to King’s Canyon from March 24 to May 5.
The World’s Edge map will also get some new changes. A planet harvester has descended on the map and will change things up for veteran Apex players.
