Andy Cohen has been labeled the “king” of reality TV reunions in a new interview by someone very close to him. Ariana Madix, who became a bonafide superstar after Scandoval, was booked and busy this summer hosting Love Island USA.
Madix hosted Season 6, which was full of drama and explosive moments. Consequently, Peacock made sure the stars had a reunion. Ariana told Page Six that filming the special was “very intense.” She also mentioned having a “newfound respect” for Andy, who’s best known for hosting reunions for Real Housewives, Summer House, Southern Charm, and more.
“And he gave me the best advice beforehand,” Ariana explained. “He just said, ‘Don’t be afraid to go out there and to be you and put your own stamp on it.’ Obviously, he’s done so many reunions. He’s literally, like, the king of it! So it was really amazing to be able to get some advice from him before doing it.”
Ariana Madix Details What Filming Love Island USA in Fiji Was Like
When it was announced that Ariana Madix would host Love Island USA, the excitement was through the roof. As weeks went by, the show’s fans praised the Vanderpump Rules star for her skills in front of the camera and her good looks.
Many of the reality star’s outfits were stunning, and they often showed off her frame and toned body. During her chat with Page Six, Ariana indicated that maintaining her shape was hard work. “You truly have to eat correctly,” she said. “There’s no way around it. I learned that.”
However, Madix can’t take all of the credit. She revealed that her boyfriend, Daniel Wei, created her workout plans.
“But also, when I was in Fiji,” she added, “I was in the gym every day because I had nothing else to do.”
During Love Island’s run this summer, fans made sure to shower Ariana with love.
“Ariana has been looking so good,” one user wrote. “The hair, the looks, the BODY. No wonder Cinderella’s step sisters stay pressed.”

It’s unknown whether there will be a seventh season of Love Island USA, but if there is, there’s no question about whether the watchers want to see Ariana return.
