Ariel Winter‘s Instagram fans took a matter of minutes to jump to conclusions last week. Filming herself in her vehicle as she headed to her nearest McDonald’s, the actress chatted away to her fans while grabbing herself a McFlurry, but talk in the comments was more about the “baby” mentioned in her caption.
Ariel, who is in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Luke Benward, quickly had fans assuming she was expecting, although the Modern Family star didn’t waste time shutting down the speculation. Ariel tends not to reply to fans, but it looks like sparking a viral pregnancy rumor wasn’t on her agenda. The post has now gained over 70,000 likes. Ariel is followed by 5 million on her Instagram.
Ariel Winter Hits McDonald’s With Instagram Video
Uploading a selfie video from her car, Ariel kept casual in a long-sleeved white top with colorful prints.
Turning heads as she switched out her signature red hair for a brunette look, the TV star told fans that she hadn’t “been to McDonald’s in definitely more than a decade.” Following a recommendation, Ariel decided to give the fast food giant’s famous McFlurry a go.
Ariel’s attempt to order at the drive-thru didn’t go to plan, though. Footage switched to her in cat-eye shades, but the “fricking wasp” near her seemed to be getting in the way of her approaching the establishment. Clearly not used to the spoon-in-ice-cream setup, Ariel admitted that she thought the McFlurry spoon was a straw, then tasting her very first M&M McFlurry. “It’s pretty fire,” she told fans while crunching away.
Fans Thinking She’s Pregnant
In a caption, the sitcom star wrote: “Baby’s first McFlurry🍦👀 what fast food ice cream do I need to try next?!”
Gaining over 100 likes was a fan writing: “Baby’s first??? Does that mean 🤰??” Replying before Ariel had the chance to, another tried to shut things down, writing: “It’s just an expression. Baby, meaning that you’re new to the experience. Babies are new to everything. But funny that you thought that. Ha.”
Ariel herself has since responded. Confirming that she’s not pregnant, she wrote: “It does NOT lol,” to which another user replied: “Phew.”
Others, however, couldn’t wrap their heads around how Ariel lives in the U.S. but has never tried a McFlurry.
“I can’t believe I just watched this. The one person in the world who hasn’t had a McFlurry?” one fan wrote. Another eyed up the star going makeup-free, telling her that the real “fire” was her keeping bare-faced.
