A fast and furious driver met a sad fate after breaking traffic laws and insulting a fellow road user. The incident occurred in Tempe, Arizona, and was captured by the road user who encountered the driver.
The video, which was posted on Reddit, opens with the recording vehicle slowly overtaking a silver colored jeep. All was going well until the SUV driver noticed the occupants in the other car, and she surprisingly flipped them off. The jeep sped ahead, only to meet disaster seconds later.
At an intersection, the SUV blasts through a red light and is immediately t-boned by a pickup truck. The force of the collision sends the jeep spinning in the air several times before finally crashing to the floor. The recorder could be heard expressing shock at what he just witnessed and asking, โWhatโs she on?โ
As seen in the clip, significant damage appeared to have been done to the driverโs door, the roof, and the fender. Across the footage was a write-up where the eyewitness detailed the events.
The caption read, โHe rear-ended me with my daughter in the car and then took off! Then this happened within minutes.โ
Although the clip cuts off without showing whether the medical aid arrived at the scene, the eyewitness later recounted that the victim declined medical attention.
โThis person got up, walked around, and refused an ambulance ride to the hospital!โ the witness recalled.
In no time, the clip went viral, and netizens’ reactions poured in with several claiming the driver deserved the disaster. One user mocked, “That’s a crash you don’t get up from.โ
A second social media enthusiast remarked, โShe’s really lucky she wasn’t half a second later or that truck would’ve collided right into her door.โ Another social media enthusiast quipped, โThat’s more of a t-fucked rather than a t-bone.โ
This other observer pointed out that the victim should suffer the consequences for breaking traffic laws. โIn response to the text at the end of the video: I hope they got a ride to jail instead,โ the user wrote.
A fifth commenter argued that the crash was closer to a criminal act, with the unsuspecting pickup truck driver unfairly caught up in it. The user stated, โThis is just vehicular homicide or attempted. Not really karma for the innocent pickup driver.โ
Itโs unclear what happened to the other vehicle involved in the accident, whether it sustained any severe damage. However, this should be a lesson to all road users that traffic rules are to be strictly obeyed for their safety.
