I must say that, despite the many titles arriving in 2025, the one that has me looking at my calendar daily is Atelier Yumia, which has finally gone gold. For all soon-to-be alchemists, this is great news. However, for those who’ve been with the series for years and been excited since the reveal of Yumia, the wait is killing us; in a good way, though. In all seriousness, though, the fact that the next Atelier title is almost here and it’s officially finished is fantastic and fans can rest easy knowing that Yumia will arrive soon.

The developer shared the news of Atelier Yumia going gold through the official Koei Tecmo America X account. This means the game is now finished for the unaware gamers. And if you didn’t know, the game is set to release on March 21, 2025, so that’s not far away now.

If you haven’t played any Atelier games, Yumia is an excellent starting point. After Atelier Ryza, Yumia is bringing a new cast of characters to the game series, alongside improved gameplay mechanics, and many systems that are already making this one of the best modern Atelier titles out there. Also, not long ago, Koei Tecmo shared the opening sequence for this title, which we’ll share below in case you haven’t watched it.

For now, all we can do is wait for the imminent release of this long awaited game. If you haven’t, you can pre-order the game by heading to the official website and selecting your platform.

If you pre-order the game, you’ll obtain the “Atelier Yumia – Aladiss Investigation Preparation Set.” This includes the following items:

  • “Athlete of Memories” Costume for Yumia
  • Exclusive Equipment “Training Wrist Weight”
  • “Floating Object of Memories” Costume for Flammi

For those who want to get even more customization options for Yumia and her party, the deluxe edition includes the following goodies:

  • Atelier Yumia – Colorful Collection
    • Includes 14 costume palette changes for Yumia, Flammi, Viktor, Isla, Rutger, Nina, and Lenja
    • Three “Puni Badge” accessories
    • Recipe for Puni Badges

And, if you’re a true fan of the series, like yours truly, the ultimate edition features the following:

  • Atelier Yumia – Colorful Collection
  • Atelier Yumia Season Pass
    • Atelier Yumia – Additional Hair Color Set
    • Five hair color changes for Yumia, Flammi, Viktor, Isla, Rutger, Nina, and Lenja.
    • Unique swimsuit costumes for each of the seven party characters
    • Unique academy-themed costumes for each of the seven party characters.
    • Recipe and Blueprint Expansion Pack “The Art of Aladiss”
    • 1Additional Map 1
    • Additional Map 2
    • Gust Extra BGM Pack
  • Ultimate Edition bonus: “Black Rose Magician” Costume for Yumia

However, if money is a bit tight, some items will be available for purchase separately once the game releases, and a few others are planned to be released by the end of October 2025, according to the Steam page.
