By now, seeing all kinds of strange characters inside gym establishments is normal to an extent. From Karens to people exploding after someone messes up with their recording, to even offensive people. Of the latter, there’s a situation that happened recently in Austin, Texas, involving a man wearing an offensive Nazi T-shirt inside a gym. As you may have expected, a lot of people were offended by the matter and brought the situation to the attention of the establishment’s staff. Fortunately, the story has a happy ending, and those who attend this gym won’t have to deal with this person anymore.
User Suvimama shared a picture of an LA Fitness gym member in South Lamar, Austin, who was wearing a Nazi t-shirt. This T-shirt had the symbol of the SS Squad, which, as you can already imagine, was highly offensive to everyone inside the gym.
According to the OP, they and many other people talked to the establishment’s staff regarding this situation. Some even took the fight to Google and tried to post negative reviews to create awareness. However, either Google or the establishment hid and deleted these reviews in a matter of minutes. Fortunately, the gym seemingly revoked this man’s membership, banning him from the premises. Still, it is surprising that this happened in the first place and that the gym’s staff let the man enter this place with that T-shirt.
As you can expect, a lot of people had many things to say on the matter, to the gym and to the offender.
“Well I for one know I won’t be exercising at the nazi friendly LA Fitness on south Lamar.” – JonnyTFunk via Reddit.
“Looks like he’s trying so hard for someone to pay attention to him.” – GraphicallySuspect via Reddit.
Even if the establishment already solved the situation, it is sad that it happened in the first place. A lot of people just want to go to a gym to work out and not to watch hate symbols while doing so.
