Erick Weber from Critics Choice got a chance to speak to Marvel Studios President and MCU mastermind Kevin Feige during a special screening of Black Panther. Weber was able to get a few answers from Feige regarding the status of the MCU. More importantly, a trailer date for the highly anticipated conclusion to Infinity War, Avengers 4.
OK, here we go, 3 quick questions, answers direct from Kevin Feige's mouth
1) AVENGERS 4 trailer "before the end of the year"
2) Namor COULD make an appearance, still deciding IF & when
3) GUARDIANS 3 status "on hold"

As you can see above, Feige has reportedly confirmed that we would indeed see our first trailer for Avengers 4 “before the end of the year”. It isn’t surprising to see that Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 is still on hold, considering the film is still missing a director after the James Gunn situation.
Feige’s reluctance to include Namor into the MCU is understandable. Namor is essentially Marvel’s version of Aquaman. DC has an Aquaman solo filming arriving in theaters very shortly, so it is likely that Feige is content on waiting to see how it performs at the box office.
A few weeks ago, a trailer description for Avengers 4 appeared online, courtesy of Reddit user vfxgurudontmind. The description mainly focused on the aftermath of the snap and those who survived it. The Reddit user then said that the Avengers 4 trailer would debut either November 21st, November 28th, or December 12th on Good Morning America. He ended his post by saying that a new Captain Marvel trailer would also be on the way around Christmas.
While the leaked description should definitely be taken with a grain of salt, Feige’s confirmation of the Avengers 4 trailer coming this year actually gives a little weight to the rumor. Either way, we don’t have to wait too long to see our first look at Avengers 4.
What are your thoughts on Feige’s comments? Would you like to see Namor in the MCU? Do you believe the leaked Avengers 4 trailer description? Let us know in the comments below!
