Today’s Square Enix Presents Summer Showcase E3 2021 live stream finally shows off PlatinumGames‘s Babylon’s Fall. Coming to PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam, it is a hack-and-slash made for a four-player co-op multiplayer experience but you will be able to beat it alone if you want to. Designed as a “live service title” from the start, it will feature a range of post-launch game modes at no additional cost. The game was first announced back in June 2018.
Although Square Enix and PlatinumGames haven’t said anything about Babylon’s Fall‘s release window, sign-ups for a closed beta test are available until July 5 at 07:59 AM PDT. According to the official site, the closed beta test will be divided into three phases, and each phase will have different testing goals. Additional platforms will be added at different phases:
- Phase 1: late July, for PC only.
- Phase 2: To be determined, for PS4 and PC.
- Phase 3: To be determined, for PS5, PS4, and PC.
- And to note:
- You must have a Square Enix Account.
- Sharing of information or content during Phase 1 is prohibited.
- Character data made during the closed beta test will not carry over to the full game.
- Beta is open only for people in United States, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan.
