Babylon’s Fall, the co-op action RPG, is getting a demo on PlayStation consoles. Square Enix announced today that the Babylon’s Fall demo would be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 25th.

The demo gives players access to the opening section of the game. Players can go solo or team with up to 4 players in cross-play co-op. All progress made in the demo carries over into the game’s full release on PlayStation platforms.

Babylon’s Fall officially launches on March 3rd, 2022. Take a look at the latest trailer below.

What to expect

Babylon’s Fall was developed in partnership with renowned action game specialists PlatinumGames Inc. Knowing that might make some players even more eager to get their hands on the game. Seeing PlatinumGames Inc. tied to a game is like a dog hearing Pavlov’s bell.

The demo provides multiple hours of story content and limitless multiplayer to give players a head start on strengthening their Sentinel. The early stages of the game introduce a player to the power their Sentinel wields on the battlefield. However, it also illustrates the burden they shoulder in having to save the city surrounding the Tower of Babylon. The Tower’s secrets only become apparent through both a Sentinel’s efforts and their sacrifices.

Following the launch, Babylon’s Fall will receive multiple free content updates. Including new story content as well as new weapons and game modes.

About Babylon’s Fall

In Babylon’s Fall, players become a warrior known as a Sentinel. After being bonded with special equipment known as Gideon Coffins, they set out on a journey to overcome the Tower of Babylon. In addition to using a weapon in both the left and right hands, the Gideon Coffin allows players to equip two more. Simultaneously use all four weapons to create powerful combos. The capabilities of different equipment also bring endless variation to strategies in the game. The game’s visuals use a new “brushwork” art style meant to mimic a medieval oil painting.

Players can get their hands on the demo on February 25th. Babylon’s Fall releases on March 3rd on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
