Bad Lip Reading, the team that brought you Medieval Land Fun-Time World and a host of other bad lip readings of other popular shows, have gotten together again to create The Redneck Avengers: Tulsa Nights, a take on Joss Whedons 2012 film The Avengers.
For those who haven’t already heard of Bad Lip Reading, the team have become known for removing the dialogue from a movie or TV show, re-recording parts with different lines and releasing a sort of trailer for their creation. One of their biggest hits came in the form of Medieval Land Fun-Time World, a recreation of Game of Thrones, where the show was recreated as a comedy film.
Bad Lip Reading has also become known for their readings of everything from political skewering to taking on the NFL. This time, Bad Lip Reading took on The Avengers with Redneck Avengers: Tulsa Nights and came out on top; in this iteration, the team are created as a bunch of incestuous rednecks with a love for bad doughnuts and a hatred for bad pig. You can see the full video below.
As expected, the video has become a bit of a hit with fans.
This is funny. Avengers is okay, but Redneck Avengers is sublime…and frankly the hillbilly soap opera we deserve https://t.co/Wh3Kv75Q4g

….man, the “Redneck Avengers” theme is much more of an earworm than I’d expected.
