Get ready to relive Barbie Land all over again. The “Barbie” digital release date has finally been confirmed. According to Variety, the film will be available online starting on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Although that’s still a few weeks away, you can already pre-order “Barbie” on Amazon. The film, which stars Margot Robbie as the titular doll, premiered in theaters on July 21 and has become a major hit around the world. If you thought the “Barbie” craze was over, think again because the film’s digital release is sure to bring in a new wave of fans.

“Barbie” Digital Release Date Confirmed

Update: The Barbie digital version released on September 12, 2023.

Fans can pre-order the “Barbie” movie in three different formats on Prime Video: UHD, HD, and SD. They will all cost $24.99. In addition to Prime Video, fans can watch “Barbie” online via iTunes. The film will also be available on Blu-ray and DVD on Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

The “Barbie” digital release date news comes amid “Barbie” surpassing “The Dark Knight” to become Warner Bros.’ highest-grossing film at the domestic box office. Greta Gerwig‘s comedy made $537.5 million domestically, while Christopher Nolan‘s superhero flick made $536 million. To add to its achievements, “Barbie” has also become the second-biggest movie of 2023. Since releasing on July 21, it’s made over $1.19 billion globally, putting it just behind the “Super Mario Bros.” movie, which grossed over $1.35 worldwide during its run. The animated film also made $574 million domestically compared to Gerwig’s $537 million hit.
