However, that hasn’t stopped the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star from looking ahead to the future. Sources are now revealing exactly what the actor thinks about dating following the end of his marriage. He’s also being criticized online for all of the time he’s been spending with his first wife, Jennifer Garner.
Page Six reports that Ben Affleck is nowhere near ready to date again following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. While the former couple continues to work through all of the legal issues revolving around their split, such as their lack of prenup and selling their $68 million mansion, Affleck is focused on work. He’s also focused on the three children that he shares with Jennifer Garner.
Sources tell the outlet that the Argo director isn’t interested in dating at the moment. Instead, he’s focused on himself and has prioritized his career and family. He’s allegedly taking time to process the divorce and isn’t ready to jump into another romance so soon after the end of his marriage to JLo.

“Ben’s divorce from Jennifer hasn’t even been finalized, but even if it were, dating is just not where his head is at,” an insider dished. “Ben is taking this time to focus on himself, his kids and his career.”
The source went on to add that Affleck is “still adjusting to single life” and doesn’t want “has no interest into jumping into another relationship at the moment.”
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck has been leaning on his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, throughout his divorce drama. The pair have been spotted together at their kids’ school events, during family outings, and celebrating holidays together. Most recently, Ben joined Jen and the kids for Thanksgiving. The family served food to the less fortunate before heading home for their own family meal. Just days later, Affleck and Garner were photographed driving together in Beverly Hills.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez is said to be blaming Garner for stealing Affleck’s attention away this holiday season, per In Touch. JLo had allegedly wanted to celebrate the holidays with her estranged husband and their children. Lopez and Affleck’s kids have gotten close over the years. However, it seems that the actor is opting to spend the final weeks of the year with Garner and their brood. Of course, fans have plenty of opinions about the exes’ close relationship.
“Ben does not need to date. He still appears to be having all his needs met by Jennifer Garner. It seems to work well for the both of them for the time being,” one person commented.
“Their relationship is inappropriate and bizarre,” another said of Affleck and Garner’s post-divorce dynamic.
