While actor Ben Stiller has a lot of fans, he is currently under fire for criticizing the White House. The actor is known for important roles such as Night at the Museum and Tropic Thunder. The latter was used in a clip posted by The White House’s official account to promote US military strikes on Iran.

Hey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie. https://t.co/dMQqRxxVCa

Ben Stiller didn’t like what the White House did and that they used his movie for their propaganda. This was why he wrote on X, “Hey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie.”

The actor’s criticism of the White House only led to him being dragged online. People were quick to remind him of the fact that he had previously met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This proved to many that he was a hypocrite.

After Ben Stiller criticized the White House, thousands of people attacked him online. “Ben… take a big step back and literally [expletive] your own face. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” one person told him. Another person posted pictures of Stiller with Zelensky and wrote, “Here’s ben stiller supporting the $300 billion Ukraine war, and even laughing.” Someone else said, “Remember when you went to Ukraine to suck Zelenskyy’s toes and vowed to support his war for as long as it lasts? Thanks.” Another person planned to boycott Stiller as they said, “One more tiresome celebrity who gets checked off the list. No more of his movies. Bye!”

More people dragged the actor as one person asked him, “But you made a movie about war and had no problem making $195.7 million at the box office from it?” Another person said, “Hey Ben, please remove yourself from political commentary. Entertain us, we don’t care or have appreciate your opinions while sitting on your ivory throne we, THE PEOPLE helped you build.” Someone even told him, “You’re a disgrace to America, the country that made your life possible.”

The actor remained respectful despite the attack. When one person told him, “Tropic Thunder sucked big time! Horrible movie‼!,” he responded, “You are entitled to your opinion.” Good for him.
