Better known as the MP5 or the Lachmann-Sub in previous Call of Duty titles, C9 is the king of the SMG class in BO6. As with the recent update, the C9 SMG has been buffed to the heavens in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and for that, we’re having a special best loadout here that also reads well with the “Teddy Is A Liar” Prestige I blueprint reward.
Best C9 SMG Loadout in BO6
- Muzzle: Compensator/Suppressor
- Fire Mod: Recoil Springs
- Rear Grip: CQB Grip
- Barrel: Gain-Twist Barrel
- Stock: Balanced Stock
With C9, you won’t be needing the CHF Barrel or Rapid Fire mod in MP at all. This SMG was among the best before the update, and now it’s just overpowered in close and mid-range combat. In fact, we’re going to double down on its power by using the Gain-Twist Barrel, adding a sweet %50 bullet velocity. This change plays a major role in winning mid-range gun fights when your bullets just land faster on the opponent’s hitbox.
Now, I’ve tried the Vertical Foregrip on C9, but it doesn’t make a significant change to the recoil pattern. So, although Recoil Springs decreases horizontal recoil less than the Vertical Foregrip, it’d help more with gunkick and vertical recoil management.
Speaking of which, there’ll be two options to choose from here for your best C9 loadout in Black Ops 6: 1. Use the Compensator and further decrease the vertical recoil. 2. Install the Suppressor muzzle to conceal your position if you’re confident in your aim.
The resulting recoil pattern will be one of the above. Left is the one with the Compensator muzzle, while the right is when you shoot with the Suppressor on. I’d use the Suppressor myself, as it’s actually easier to control this recoil than it looks.
Now what’s left is some extra mobility that we want from our submachine gun. For the best C9 SMG loadout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the CQB rear grip is one king of an attachment to use. Aside from the other mobility stats, it gives you a 100% boost of slide-to-fire speed, which is just Omnimovement proficiency written all over it. For more movement and strafing speed, the Balanced Stock of the “Teddy Is A Liar” C9 blueprint is just the thing you need in BO6.
As for the best C9 Zombies loadout build in Black Ops 6, do not hesitate to use the Vertical Foregrip and add the Rapid Fire mod instead of Recoil Springs. This will work a little like the Double Tap perk-a-cola, increasing the fire rate by 12%.
