Every new season of Call of Duty adds new weapons to the HQ, and they’re usually meta — not all of them — but most of them. The DTIR 30-06 is one of the most broken loadout guns in MW3 and Warzone Season 6 and reminds me of mowing down enemies with BAR in Call of Duty 3. The gun is heavy, but it slaps as it can take down an opponent with, like, four shots. No worries about the gunkick though, this weapon comes with attachments that can give the JAK Requiem of Kastov 762 a run for its money in terms of accuracy.
How To Unlock DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle
You can unlock the DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle in MW3 and Warzone by proceeding to section 6 of the Season 6 Battle Pass. That’s 20 Battle Pass tokens for you to reach the meta rifle of the season.

First, let’s fix the damage range and bullet velocity of the DTIR 30-06 in MW3 and Warzone. Although this gun is as broken as General Shepherd’s skull, it comes with a miserable minimum and effective damage range. So the one attachment we need to improve is the Sanctum-60 Long Barrel, boosting the numbers by 20% on damage range and assisting with accuracy.
Speaking of which, with the Quartermaster Suppressor and Rifleman 200 Stock you can significantly reduce any recoil on the DTIR 30-06. Combine this with the JAK Glassless Optic and 40-Round Mag and you’ll gain yourself a mid to long-range killing machine DTIR 30-06 loadout that is second to none in the current Warzone and MW3 Season 6 meta.
However, if you’re confident in your accuracy and can handle a little bit of a vertical recoil, our suggestion is to use the High Grain Rounds ammunition instead of the Rifleman 200 Stock. This would boost your damage range even more, allowing you to hit targets on the 60m range with fewer shots.
As for the perks, the best ones that fit this DTIR 30-06 loadout are Fast Hands and High Alert. The High Alert perk gives you a notification of enemies aiming at you from outside your view box, which is nice to know since you’re almost standing still while ADS shooting with this rifle. And Fast Hands is just a sweetheart of a perk for reloading faster with that 40-Round Mag. Maybe if it was 50, we could trade it with Irradiated or Double Time. The choice is yours.
