Scrap Polymers are an important crafting material in the game. You need them to make life support tools like a Dew Collector, guns, and even their ammunition. Even in a zombie apocalypse, we cannot get away from plastic-made items. Thankfully, locating a spot to farm Scrap Polymers in 7 Days to Die is not as hard as you’d thought. You can easily find them in residential areas and other common buildings, although you need a bit of effort to get them.

Scrap Polymers cannot be crafted and must be obtained through scavenging. Basically, you’ll want to look for any residential and factory areas for objects made of plastic.

That’s right– dismantling plastic objects in 7 Days to Die will reward you with Scrap Polymers. Including but not limited to shopping carts, trashcans, tires, luggage, window blinds, and even TVs. Vehicles, aside from Mechanical Parts, can also yield Polymers but mostly from sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, and minivans. Make sure you dismantle them using a Wrench, though.

Plastics for Scrap Polymers are easily found in Pregen randomly generated maps inside Houses, Apartments, Schools, Offices, and Trailer Parks. For example, Grover High and Poopy Pants City Daycare are great places to find plastic objects although they have high Threat Levels. For easier spots, look out for smaller Residences and ruined or Wasted Shops and Apartments.
