Tycoon games are about wealth, wealth, and more wealth. Watching numbers tick endlessly upwards as your fortune grows just scratches a particular itch. Tycoon RNG Roblox builds on the genre’s formula by putting the player in charge of their own assembly line. Without Pals to help, your empire’s success lives and dies with you. There are countless ways to mine and process ore and other products, but only a few lead to a full bank vault. Thankfully, there’s no need to spend Robux to accelerate your production line when you know how to make the most of your machines. Here are some essential tips and tricks to go from empty pockets to full coffers in Tycoon RNG.
Upgrade Tycoon Level and Luck Early
The tutorial teaches you how to unlock upgrades, but it’s silent on which ones to buy. You’ll unlock everything eventually, but picking the right upgrades to pursue first can make your advancement much easier. There are four to choose from at the start of the game:
- Upgrade Tycoon – expands your assembly line to allow more stations
- Upgrade Luck – increases the odds of rolling rare machines
- Luck Burst – increases the frequency of lucky rolls
- Upgrade Walkspeed – increases your travel speed
It’s wise to buy Upgrade Tycoon and Luck ASAP. The first expands your assembly line, giving you more room for machines and bigger multipliers. The second increases your roll luck, meaning you’ll get rarer and more lucrative machines more often. Invest in those upgrades early, turn Auto-Roll on, and watch the profits roll in.
Monitor Your Productivity
More than just luck separates noobs from pros in Tycoon RNG. Your Efficiency plays a big part in how successful your tycoon operation will be. It’s a basic measurement of how much value you’re squeezing from your various machines, and (combined with the Cash tracker) it makes it easy to see when things are running smoothly. You can play Tycoon RNG like other idle games, sitting back and letting the money pile up, but only after you establish a profitable base. Whenever you change something on your line, check the board to see how the change affects your Efficiency and Cash per Second. When profit’s your motive, knowledge is power.
Choose the Right Machine
If you’re a Sol’s RNG veteran, you’ll understand that luck has its limits. Droppers, upgrades, and disposers drop at random, so you don’t control which machines you have access to. That’s not the end of the world. Starting items like the Iron Mine aren’t great, but they’re enough to get you by until you roll a quality item like Bloodstruck or Heavenly Ruins. Whenever you roll a new machine, take some time to inspect its description, especially if it’s Golden or another variant.
Machines can add Wet and other conditions, remove Vulnerable, and otherwise transform your ore. Your goal in Tycoon RNG is to combine machines in the most profitable way possible. You can always move machines back if you don’t like their placement, so experiment with different setups until you find what works best. Pay particular attention to what multipliers you’re getting (and under which conditions). You can easily double or triple your income by lining up multiple machines with complimentary effects, so put in some legwork on optimization before you go AFK.
Placement Is Everything
Maximizing your tycoon operation in Tycoon RNG requires specific machine placement. In particular, you’ll want to be cautious of Acid Pools and other destructive items. This type of item multiplies the values of products passing through them, but only for a few seconds. When their timer runs out, the product is automatically destroyed, destroying your potential profits with it. Items that reach the end of the assembly line will be spared, however. Always place machines in ways that maximize their multipliers without needlessly destroying products. Do that and you might need a second bank for all your money.
