Building materials and Pal Eggs aren’t the only things you must farm in this survival game. At some point, you will need loads of Gold Coins to stock up on rarer commodities. Although you can make efficient Pal-powered sweatshops, you still cannot print money for obvious reasons. Because of that, knowing how to farm Gold Coins will become crucial as you reach Palworld mid-game and beyond.

Best Early Game Gold Farming: Make a Mau Ranch

The easiest way to make Gold is by catching a bunch of Maus and letting them graze in a Ranch. One Mau will eventually drop 10 Gold Coins after a while. Best of all, they work day and night since they’re a Dark Type Pal — and can be found as low-level Pals in early-game dungeons. Head over to the dungeon behind Hill of Beginnings (262, -540) or the one at the beach near Grassy Behemoth Hill (123, -485) to catch them.
Mid Game Method 1: Sell Farmed Items and Pals

Catching Wandering Merchants and adding them to your Base’s occupants is a great way to trade. You don’t have to wait until one is traveling through or going back and forth to Fast Travel points. Once you have your own personal Merchant, it’s time to decide what items to farm for Coins.
Currently, selling Pizzas and Cakes can be considered the best method to farm money in the late-end game period. Meanwhile, dumping Baked Berries and High Quality Cloth from Sybelix on Merchants is the best for early and mid-game Coin farming thanks to their cheap automation. Still, making a bunch of Nails and selling them is still pretty efficient, too.
| Item or Pal | Sell Price (x1) |
|---|---|
| Baked Berries | 10 |
| Nails | 20 |
| High Quality Cloth | 40 |
| Salad | 120 |
| Pizza | 290 |
| Cake | 1,000 |
| Relaxaurus | 13,000 (Level 80) |
Whenever you’re exploring dungeons, remember to sell Rubies, Diamonds, Lotus, and any items labeled Precious, as they’re only meant to be sold for Gold. Bringing Pals with the Noble and Fine Furs Partner Skills can also increase selling prices by up to 40%.
Mid Game Method 2: Looting Black Marketers

Farming the elusive Black Marketer merchant NPC in Palworld can easily give you 10,000 Gold Coins per run. The most well-known way to do so is by using a Hanging Trap while attacking him and burning him. He’s a Level 30 NPC with 5,000 health, so wailing on him can take a while when you’re underleveled. Just make sure you hit him at least once so he will drop his loot!
On Normal, a Black Marketer will drop 10,000-15,000 Gold Coins when defeated, while Hard on default settings gives 5,000-7,500. If you set the Dropped Items Multiplier to x3, you farm about 30,000 to 40,000 Gold Coins in Palworld base difficulty. Once you get the Gold, just go somewhere far, return to the Marketer’s spawn, and repeat the process. Keep in mind that any Merchant’s stock refreshes every time they respawn.
Locating them can be a bit tough since they can be well hidden. Here you should head to these four spots for a fixed Black Marketer spawn:
- In the Abandoned Mineshaft below the Desolate Church fast travel point. The coordinate is 34, -421.
- In the Secret Mineshaft, wedged inside the Desiccated Desert canyon west of PIDF Tower. The entrance’s coordinate is at 493, 345.
- Near the northern wall of Duneshelter, outside the town at 351, 371.
- In a small cave west of the Eastern Wild Island fast travel point, 459, -125.
Late Game Money Farming in Palworld: Automate Gold Coin Assembly Line

The Gold Coin Assembly Line is the ultimate passive money maker. Once you reach Technology Level 48, you can unlock the structure with 3 Technology Points. Building it requires:
- Circuit Boards x20.
- Cement x30.
- Nails x50.
- Pal Metal Ingots x100.
1 Ingot can be converted into 100 Gold Coins, making it one of the most efficient ways to generate money with an automated Ore and Ingot production line. Don’t forget, though, the Assembly Line also requires Electricity and Handiwork Pals to operate.
From ranches to full-blown industrial-scale coin production, you’ll never have to worry about running out of money again with these tricks.
