As mentioned above, town rank is an extremely useful and irreplaceable thing, because it directly affects your progress in the story. If you’re tired of the routine and want to get the most out of the game, be sure to improve your town rank. By doing so, you will not only make the city better, but also unlock a bunch of things, including the following:

  • New crops and animals.
  • New decorative elements, accessories, and clothing.
  • New shops and other buildings.
  • New quests and characters.

To achieve all this, you need to raise your rank as quickly as possible. From the very beginning, you start with F rank, but there are several more ahead:

  • E rank
  • D rank
  • C rank
  • B rank
  • A rank

Also, in the future, the developers are planning to add additional S and SS ranks, which means that even more adventures and interesting quests await you. In general, there are several ways to increase your town rank, and fortunately, all of them are fun, so let’s talk about it in more detail.

The first and probably the most interesting thing is giving a local museum new items. You can get there as early as on the 3rd day of spring of year 1, and you will be greeted by Scott, a local employee. Your main task will be to bring here a variety of valuable and interesting items that you can get as you progress in the game and explore locations. Among the main things you can bring to the Starlet Town Museum are the following:

  • Artifacts
  • Fish
  • Fossils
  • Gems
  • Insects
  • Ocean critters

Expanding the museum’s vast collection will earn you points that will increase your town rank. This is not a mandatory job, and you can visit the museum to add new items whenever you want.

Diving

This method may also appeal to you, as this mechanic is rarely seen in farm simulators. As you progress in the game, at some point you will discover diving. It will not only be fun, but also quite useful, and you can get points for increasing your town rank. First, you will have to interact with Dr. Ling. You will learn that the ocean is very polluted, and you need to help clean it up. Your main tasks will include the following:

  • Cleaning up the garbage.
  • Treating corals.
  • Activating solar orbs to clean the water from the oil that has spilled into the ocean.

Just like with the museum, it is not mandatory to do anything, but if you want to increase your town rank, then feel free to do it.

The last option involves restoring relations with the Goddess and the Giants by offering the essential resources bundle. This option is unlocked after completing the Mythical Dream quest. Your main task will be to sacrifice resources and products, and depending on the season, the requirements will vary. Each time you bring items to the altar, you will receive points to increase your town rank. After the first successful sacrifice, you will also unlock fast travel to move more quickly between different parts of the island.
