Luke Valentine’s Dad Stands Up for Him
Luke Valentine’s dad, James, isn’t keeping quiet about the racist tag labeled on his son. On Thursday, the man spoke to TMZ about the controversial incident that occurred in the Big Brother house. James revealed Valentine’s words were surprising and disappointing. However, he noted that his son wasn’t a racist. According to James, Big Brother’s Luke Valentine had many Black family members, including biracial cousins, a stepmother, and step-siblings. He also explained that Valentine’s step-mom was saddened to hear him use the n-word. Nevertheless, she was convinced the television personality was a good kid, and they had a good relationship.
What’s more, James relayed that he had never heard Valentine using the racial slur. The supportive dad added that he believed his son didn’t intend to be racist. However, he agreed Valentine’s words were wrong, and his son had to be more mindful of what came out of his mouth. James further expressed his disappointment in the producers’ decision to boot Valentine from the show. He said his son seemed to be having fun, and the family wanted to see Valentine on the program longer. Still, James admitted that the star didn’t follow the rules, which got him removed. Meanwhile, he hopes Big Brother‘s Luke Valentine gets a chance to explain himself.
Big Brother’s Luke Valentine Uses Racial Slur
On Wednesday morning, Big Brother‘s Luke Valentine was removed from the house after he was caught using the N-word on the show’s live feed. As seen in the clip, the Caucasian illustrator used the racial slur in a conversation with fellow white house guests Hisam Goueli and Cory Wurtengerber and Jared Fields, who is Black. He casually slipped the word into a sentence saying, “We were in the f****ng cheese room, n****.” Valentine quickly tried to correct himself, saying, “Dude.” Surprisingly, Fields took no offense while Valentine laughed it off. Although it didn’t appear that much of a big deal to Fields, it sparked an uproar on social media. Eventually, it resulted in Valentine’s removal that same day.
