BitLife is a mobile game that was released on September 29, 2018. The newest weekend challenge includes tasks that will help players celebrate BitLife‘s birthday! Since there are a few requirements you need to meet in order to complete the BitLife birthday challenge, we’ll help you achieve them with this quick guide.

(Updated on August 1, 2024 – Fact-checked and fixed inconsistencies).

How to Complete the BitLife Birthday Challenge

The BitLife Birthday Challenge has four tasks you will need to complete:

  • Be born in the United States in September
  • Join the BitLife team
  • Post 10+ BitLife videos on YouTube
  • Buy your best friend Bitizenship

To begin, you will need to create a new character who was born in the United States. The difficult part about this task, however, is being born in September. It does not matter what day in September you are born on. When you start a new life, you will get some messages below the “Age 0 years” heading. One of these messages tells you your character’s birthday and their zodiac sign. If this message does not say September, you will need to create a new character again. Alternatively, you can use God Mode to set your birth month, but this costs real-life money.

Once you create a new character, you need to join the BitLife team. Age up your character until you can enter university, then apply for a Computer Science degree. Once you graduate, apply for a full-time app developer job. When you select a job, it will tell you the employer that posted the listing. The employer must be “BitLife” for it to count towards the challenge. If it is not BitLife, look at other listings or age up until you find it.

The third task is to post 10 or more BitLife videos on YouTube. First, you have to create a YouTube account by navigating to the “Assets” tab and then to “Social Media.” Once your account is created, click on the channel, select “Post,” and choose “BitLife” as your video topic. Do this 10 times throughout your character’s life, and you will complete the third task.

The final task requires you to become best friends with someone and buy them Bitizenship. Your character must work at BitLife to get this option. You also must give it to a best friend so it can count towards the challenge. As you befriend someone and raise your relationship bar with them, they may ask you if you want to become best friends. Accept this offer to become their best friend. Once you complete all of these tasks, you will have finished the BitLife Birthday Challenge in BitLife.
