The time has come for the newest weekend challenge in BitLife! This challenge tasks with reliving the life of famous musician Elton John. You are required to complete challenges such as mastering the piano, becoming a famous solo artist, and obtaining a double-platinum record! By the end of this guide, you will learn how to complete the tasks required to finish the Rocket Man challenge in BitLife.
How to Complete the Rocket Man Challenge in BitLife

The Rocket Man Challenge has five tasks that you’ll need to complete:
- Be born a male
- Master the piano
- Become a famous solo artist
- Have a double platinum record
- Marry a man
The first task is the easiest to complete. When you start a new life, you will need to be a male as your starting gender. It does not matter where you live! By the time your character is around 12 years old, you will have the option to define their identity. Go to the Activities tab, and select Identity. Since you were born a male, you will not have to be too concerned about changing your gender, but you can choose cisgender to stay certain.
In this same tab, choose Sexuality, and identify as gay. While you are not required to do this to complete the challenge, it will make it much easier to date and eventually marry a man. This is especially important if your character has strong heterosexual tendencies since if you do not choose bisexual or gay, he will naturally choose women as potential romantic partners.
Master the Piano and More
Once you have created a male character and identified him as being homosexual, the next step is to master the piano. As soon as you can, go to the Mind & Body tab, and choose Instruments. Scroll down to Piano, and take piano lessons several times a year. Not only will this give you an advantage when you are older, but you will receive free piano lessons when you are a child. If you try to take piano lessons as an adult, you will have to pay a fee for every lesson. Get your piano skill bar to 100% to master it.
The next task is to become a solo artist. Once you are 18 years old, you will unlock Special Careers. Go to the occupation tab, select Special Careers, and select Musician. To fulfill the task, you will need to become a solo artist rather than join a band. Choose piano as your career type, or singer if you also have 100% mastery in vocals, and pick any record label. You may not immediately get accepted, but keep trying and you should eventually succeed.
Double-Platinum and Beyond
Next, you will need to have a double-platinum record. You obtain this when you reach over 2,000,000 sold copies of a record. However, you do not need to sell all 2,000,000 copies in the first year. You may sell less than this the first year, then receive a pop-up the following year saying your record reached double-platinum status for getting more sales. To reach these high numbers, it’s important that you release albums regularly.
However, do not post them every year! Rather, you will want to continue practicing your skills. With the right genre and subgenre combinations, alongside a little bit of luck, you will eventually get a double-platinum record. It is very unlikely that you will get this within the first couple of years of becoming a musician, especially as a solo artist who needs to build up reputation and fame from scratch. Once you complete all of these tasks, you will have completed the Rocket Man Challenge in BitLife. However, as of July 26th, 2024, this and many other BitLife challenges have expired.
