One of my personal favorite BitLife challenges is a relatively difficult one, the V Challenge. This challenge will take us into the United Kingdom where we’ll busy ourselves with some light reading, rob a bank or two, and live out our lives as a barber in prison. You might think that’s all, but we’ll actually stage an interesting escape and get a taste of life in the free world again. Let’s check out the V Challenge in BitLife and how to complete it.

[Updated on August 7th, 2024 – Updated information for clarity]

V Challenge Tasks

The BitLife V Challenge has five tasks you will need to complete:

  • Be born a male in the United Kingdom
  • Read The Communist Manifesto
  • Rob a bank wearing a Guy Fawkes Mask
  • Go to prison and work as a barber for five or more years
  • Escape prison in a riot

Be Born a Male in the United Kingdom

The first task of the challenge is the easiest. When creating a new character, you must choose male as your gender and the United Kingdom as your starting country. It does not matter where you are born as long as you live somewhere in the United Kingdom. As far as Attributes, Special Talents, and any other information goes, you can just let them be randomized.

Read The Communist Manifesto

Once you’ve created your new life, you will want to age until you are an adult. Since The Communist Manifesto is an adult book, you won’t be able to read it until you are at least 18 years old. Navigate to the Activity tab and select the Mind and Body menu. Under this, select the Book option and choose The Communist Manifesto if it is available. If it does not show up right away, refresh your options by either aging up or closing your app and restarting it. This may take numerous attempts. Once you find it in the list, choose The Communist Manifesto and tap on the book pages until you’ve finish reading it.

Rob a Bank Wearing a Guy Fawkes Mask

To complete the third task of the challenge, head back to the Activities tab and choose the Crime menu. Select bank robbery as your crime, and you will be given numerous options for your bank, weapon, disguise and getaway. The option you will focus on is the disguise, to which you will need to choose the Guy Fawkes Mask. If it does not appear, age up or restart your BitLife app until the option appears for you. As for the other options, choose whatever bank, weapon, and getaway that you want. You’ll need to be sent to prison, so choose something that will ensure you get caught.

Go To Prison and Work As a Barber for Five or More Years

After getting sent to prison, you’ll need to pick up a job. To become a barber for five years, your character’s prison sentence must be five years or longer. Under the prison menu on the home page, select jobs and choose barber. If it does not appear, you will need to age up and recheck the list, or close and restart your BitLife app. If your sentence is over five years, but you do not become a barber, your character will need to go back to prison and try again, and get in a couple of fights to extend your stay.

Escape Prison in a Riot

Finally, you will need to start a prison riot. Under the prison tab again, play a game of Snake. You will need to recruit other prisoners to riot with you. To complete this task, you will need to escape prison during the riot successfully. This is not guaranteed, so you may need to attempt it several times.
