Blake Lively is currently front-page news for her Friday night dinner outing. Enjoying a double date with husband Ryan Reynolds, the 37-year-old joined singer Taylor Swift and NFL player boyfriend Travis Kelce in NYC, but she quickly fell under fire for her outfit.
Hitting pause on the floral looks she spent the summer wearing while promoting her It Ends With Us movie, Blake channeled the ripped trend, rocking a shredded-effect, skintight dress and boots. Looking a million miles from the glitzy, bombshell image she’s known for, Blake channeled slight grunge vibes as she showed off her figure, and she managed to get both slammed and body-shamed. Users seeing the photos on The Daily Mail did comment on 34-year-old Taylor’s Gucci corset dress, but many of the most-liked comments targeted Blake.

Highlighting her curves via those clingy fabrics, Blake stepped out confidently, modeling a maroon dress with thigh slits and a tight bodice.
Adding splashes of lighter color from prints on her dress, the Gossip Girl star flashed her shapely legs in matching sheer stockings, accenting her bodycon number with purple leather booties.
Holding husband Ryan’s hand and smiling, Blake let her signature blonde locks fall loose, completing her night’s look with a warming face of makeup. Meanwhile, Taylor injected major glam into her look, rocking a corseted bustier minidress, Louis Vuitton booties, and a Dior purse.
Getting Told She Looks ‘Chunky’
Blake, who is usually praised for looking so slender after four kids, welcomed her fourth child in 2023. Users, seemingly paying no attention to her status as a mother of four, quickly shamed her.
“Fire the stylists. Blake’s looking chunky and they all look boring,” one user wrote, with over 100 others upvoting the comment. The vast majority of replies, however, centered around everyone’s style.

Blake is currently battling a recent wave of backlash, one centered around the heavily glamorized promo for her It Ends With Us movie when the storyline is actually about domestic violence. The blonde has been accused of glossing over the issue, with many of her own Instagram followers turning on her in recent weeks.
