Borderlands 3 recently finished up with its first round of DLC, in the form of the first season pass. All four DLC add-ons are quite frankly awesome and help to give fans just what they’re asking for. From more of everyone’s favorite Handsome Jack to the inside of Psycho Krieg’s mind, every moment was just what we could ask for. It’s been a bit since the final DLC released though, and fans are wondering where Borderlands is heading next. Today, Gearbox Software detailed just what to expect for the start of the second Season Pass of Borderlands 3. Strap on your seatbelts, because there’s a lot to talk about.

What’s in Borderlands 3’s Second Season Pass?

Borderlands 3

Season Pass 2 of Borderlands 3 will feature two new downloadable add-on packs, coming in the form of the Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut. There will also be brand new looks for all the vault hunters, but information on that will come later on. The Designer’s Cut will feature four all-new skill trees for the vault hunters, giving you a new way to play the game. We don’t know much about Amara, Zane, and Moze’s skill trees, but we did get a sneak peek at Fl4k’s previously. His new skill tree will focus on a small loader bot, similar to the ones from Borderlands 2. This adorable little guy will pack some serious punch, and offer up new ways to play. The DLC will also feature a new mode, and more!

The Director’s Cut is being kept under wraps, similarly to the new mode from the Designer’s Cut. It’s a fair assumption though to guess it will bring in roughly the same amount of content to Borderlands 3 as the Designer’s Cut. Likely not new skill trees, but still something to toy around with and use in the game. If you want more information on any of the above content, you won’t have to wait long. Several streams over the next few weeks on the Borderlands Twitch channel will show off just that. The schedule of such can be found below.

  • October 20, 9:00 AM PTย โ€“ Amara and FL4K new Skill Tree reveals with Borderlands Creator Team livestreams;
  • October 22, 9:00 AM PTย โ€“ Moze and Zane new Skill Tree reveals with Borderlands Creator Team livestreams;
  • October 29, 9:00 AM PTย โ€“ A new episode of The Borderlands Show premieres, featuring the new Arms Race mode, developer interviews, and much more;
  • October 30, 9:00 AM PTย โ€“ The Bordercast streams the very first live play-through of Arms Race, with special guests.

Needless to say, there’s a lot to be excited about in the next season pass for Borderlands 3. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more news comes in. Are you excited about the Designer’s and Director’s cuts for Borderlands 3? Will you be watching the streams? Let me know in the comments below!
