The 2002 action-adventure film sequel grossed $439 million at the box office. The Rock went on to star in the Mummy spin-off film The Scorpion King, as the lead. A lot has changed since then, The Rock is a movie star and Brendan Fraser is an Oscar winner. The Rock was a presenter at the 2023 Oscars. The two stars also starred in different films for the Journey to the Center of the Earth films. The Rock said in his post that he felt a “full circle moment” with his reunion with his The Mummy Returns co-star Brendan Fraser.
