While they’ve been inseparable over the past year, their friendship has been called into question recently due to politics. Swift has confirmed she’s voting for Kamala Harris in the upcoming election, while Mahomes is supposedly backing Trump. Or, at least she was. Rumor has she’s now questioning her support of the former president after he attacked Swift on social media.
According to the Daily Mail, Brittany Mahomes is “deeply bothered” by Trump’s reaction to Swift’s public endorsement of Harris. Since she and the pop star are so close, Mahomes did not like how Trump “lashed out” at Swift by saying he “hates” her in a post shared on his Truth Social platform. Apparently, she’s so disturbed by his behavior that she’s questioning whether she should continue to support him.

The insider added that Mahomes feels like Swift had the right “to speak her mind” about her support of Harris. While Mahomes may not be voting blue, Trump’s latest outburst has “made her more aware of supporting him so publicly.”
