Bruce Willis‘ family continues to grapple with the reality of his failing health. On Monday, his daughter Tallulah opened up about suffering a heavy loss amid her famous father’s difficult condition.
The 30-year-old revealed that her pet dog had passed away. She shared a heartwarming photo of the dog snuggled in her arms while admitting that the loss of her furry pal opened up deeper wounds. “This whole experience has cracked open a lot of thoughts and emotions around loss that I haven’t really felt before,” she wrote. Tallulah explained that trying to make sense of the situation has only “felt depleting and sorrow-filled.” According to her, she desires to have her late dog back and not the ability to deal with the pain. However, knowing she can’t bring back her dead pet, Tallulah wants to understand how to feel better about grief.
“I don’t believe I’m alone in this, and yet the feelings around the vacancy where he lived in my heart feeling vastly lonely.”
She concluded the tear-jerking post by speaking about how “important” her canine friend was and is to her. “I’m here just figuring out what #GoodGrief looks like,” Tallulah penned. The youngest of Moore and Bruce has been open about the ups and downs throughout her dad’s battle with Frontotemporal dementia (FTD). In an October post, The Whole Ten Yards star spoke about preserving her father’s memory. She shared with her Instagram followers that she began photographing everyday moments with the Die Hard actor. “I love this guy so much, and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it,” she wrote.
Demi Moore Needed By Bruce Willis’ Side As The End Nears
Tallulah’s post follows reports that the Willis family is worried about Demi Moore’s recent busy schedule. Although they have been divorced since 2000, Moore and Bruce remained close pals, co-parenting well and raising their blended family. So, when his FTD diagnosis happened, the Striptease actress was right by his side. However, with the success of her latest movie, The Substance, Moore has been spending more time away from home.
“She is really proud of all the work she’s done this year and wants to make sure that it gets seen,” an insider said of the situation. However, with her ex-husband’s health rapidly declining, things have become critical, and her presence is needed more than ever. The kids are reportedly “begging her to come home soon,” says the source. “It is a sad situation. They worry Demi is working too much and want her home with them and Bruce.”
