Hate bugs? Want to kill them with passion? Then check out the newest title from Samurai Punk. Killbug, a unique vertical FPS that involves killing bugs, is now out on Steam.
Killbug is Now Out on Steam
Samurai Punk, an indie game developer from Australia, has finally released their bug-shooter game Killbug. It is definitely a unique approach, with a close resemblance to the elements of Quake, which most people will love, but with a shocking twist—it involves killing bugs. People with entomophobia will either hate or love this game. On the one hand, they will have the chance to kill what they hate the most, but on the other, Killbug contains a lot of it.
Some say that Killbug has a deep likeness to Deep Daggers, which is also released by another indie game developer. Both games feature an endless horde that the player can shoot, but one features bugs, while the other demonic enemies. Nevertheless, everyone will still enjoy gunning down foes that are hideous, right?
Players will also have the chance to get bragging rights because Killbug features a leaderboard feature. With Killbug now out, some had the chance to review the game, and it has received a lot of positive reviews as of this writing. One person even stated that the polished aerial movements were a fun experience to have.
Even though Killbug does not have amazing graphics at first look, it requires a slightly beefy GTX 860 to run, so not everyone might be able to play the bug-killing game.
Players will have more choices for a fast-paced retro-inspired FPS with Killbug now out. Will Samurai Punk release a similar game in the future?
It is time to slaughter bugs because Killbug is now out and retails for $6.99 on Steam. Unfortunately, it is not currently available for other platforms.
