A woman in San Diego, California, got married. During her wedding reception, she began to dance with her father, a very emotional and traditional moment. However, an audio began playing in the background. It was a recording of her 4-year-old self talking about her future wedding. To the shock of many, mainly the groom, the little girl correctly predicted her husband’s name: Max.

I could not stop crying!! 🥹🤍full backstory: my parents found a video from when I was 4 years old talking shout my future wedding, where I named my childhood friends as my bridesmaids that were in attendance, and said Max would be my husband…. While I didn’t meet Max until college it was kismet!! They edited that clip into our father daughter dance and totally surprised everyone including me!!! ❤️ #fatherdaughterdance #wedding #bride #2026bride #2026wedding @absocialstudio

The shocking moment was posted online by Jordan Rose. She recently married the love of her life, Max, whom she met in college. While she regularly posts lifestyle content, the aforementioned clip went viral. It garnered 5.5 million views, 898,800 likes, and more than 6,000 comments.

The clip began with Jordan dancing with her father. Suddenly, two voices began playing on the back alongside The Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows.” It was actually Jordan and her father, back when she was only a four-year-old.

“Tell me about your wedding,” the man asked at the time. A young Jordan answered, “My wedding is gonna have clowns dancing with the children and a moon bounce and face painting.”

Jordan, who wrote in her clip’s description, “I could not stop crying,” began to do exactly that. The recording continued with young Jordan describing parts of her future wedding, including what she called her bridesmaids, referring to them as “silly princesses.”

Then, the California father is heard asking who the “princes” that is, the groomsmen, were going to be. The four-year-old only uttered one single name: “Max, Max, Max.”

Max, the man she married and didn’t meet until college, appeared surprised, with his mouth wide open. Everyone else gasped, laughed, cried, and applauded at the unexpected coincidence.

“No way, no way, no way,” Max said, before he also began to cry.

Everyone Is Shocked

The video sparked multiple responses.

Most viewers were as shocked and emotional as both Jordan and Max. One viewer said, “Joke’s on you, I planned on crying at 8:23 am on a Saturday.” Another added, “Just sobbing over a girl who manifested her entire life without knowing it.”

Others focused on Max’s reaction to hearing his name and even poked fun at him a bit. One viewer wrote, “I love how Max was ALMOST too drunk to handle the moment.” Another one commented, “And it was in that moment that he knew he was right where he was meant to be.”
