A man in California is being mocked online after a video showed him repeatedly yelling racial slurs while driving, only to crash his car moments later.
The road-rage incident reportedly took place in Oakland, though it is unclear what initially led to the confrontation. The video was filmed by a passenger in a vehicle traveling alongside the man’s car. According to claims shared online, the people inside the filming vehicle were Black.
In the video, the man can be seen driving while looking toward the vehicle next to him, which allegedly contained Black passengers. He repeatedly shouted insults and racial slurs in their direction. At one point, he was also filmed giving them the middle finger while continuing to drive.
The man then drove ahead for a short distance but continued directing his attention toward the other vehicle. According to the video, he repeatedly looked out of his window and continued shouting the same racial slur. At one point, one of the people in the other car told him to “shut up.” They also could be heard saying, “Call the police.”
At the end of the video, the man appeared to steer his vehicle closer to the other car, which some viewers interpreted as an attempt to cut them off or make contact. Moments later, he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to swerve and crash into a wall along the side of the road. The video ended shortly afterward, and based on the footage, the crash did not appear to result in life-threatening injuries.

Another person said, “Ah yes, truly the universe’s most precise road rage editor cuts the slur midsentence with a concrete barrier. Masterful timing, 10/10 karma, no notes.”
More viewers mocked the man following the crash. “And this will probably have to be played in court what a [expletive] loser,” one person wrote. Another person said, “he deserved that. Don’t be a racist. It’s called love thy neighbor.” Someone else added, “Y’all see how the other car was just vibing till dude started wildin? Not saying road rage is smart but screaming slurs while driving a soft top in the Bay? That’s a skill issue on multiple levels.”
The video sparked discussion about how quickly road-rage incidents can escalate and the potential dangers they pose to everyone involved. It also led to broader conversations about the use of racial slurs, with many arguing that discriminatory language is unacceptable regardless of the circumstances or emotions involved.
