One woman decided to take matters into her own hands and cut the Israeli flag down from a string of flags displayed at a local bar.
Interestingly, it was the woman’s friend at the bar who uploaded the video to the internet, rather than a bystander who recorded her without her knowledge. The pair were at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles with World Cup decorations on display. One of the decor items was a string of flags, including the Israeli flag. The woman smiled for the camera and announced her intention before jumping onto the bar to cut the Israeli flag off from the display. At least one person applauded the Californian’s efforts, while another person asked her why she did it.
Some Are Calling the Woman ‘Antisemitic’ While Others Label Her a ‘Hero’
This individual’s split-second decision has become a focal point of internet discussion threads. Some are calling her antisemitic, others are labeling her a hero, while many point out that they agree with her sentiments but don’t believe in the destruction of private property.
