Treyarch Studios has announced that the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be arriving first on the Playstation 4 on August 19. Sony and Microsoft users will be able to get in on the action at an unannounced date.
During Sony’s E3 presentation, the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was announced as an early access beta for Playstation 4 gamers along with early access to DLC maps. The amount of time that players on the Xbox One and the PC is still currently unspecified.
So far, the only way to guarantee participation in the beta is pre-order the game at a participating retailer or as a digital download. Those who pre-order will receive a code which can then be redeemed on the official beta website.

This news comes only a day ahead of the official reveal of the popular cooperative zombies for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at Comic-Con International 2015. The panel for the reveal will start on July 9th at 1PM PT. Fans can expect more news about the beta and the reveal of the Collector’s Edition as well.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on November 6, 2015 on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A version of the game is also set to be released for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox One as well.
