Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a significant title for the CoD Zombies community as it’s bringing back the round-based experience with a bunch of innovations including Augments. Treyarch is allowing players to further customize their Perks, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades in Black Ops 6 Zombies with the brand new Augments system, which also gives more reason to jump into the game and slaughter the undead to unlock them.
What Are Augments in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies?
Augments are the attachments that you can use on your Perk-A-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Filed Upgrades in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. Simply put, these additional fractions add more abilities to these three categories of equipment, like getting more HP by drinking Juggernog or getting an instant revive by killing targets while downed if you’ve had a shot of Quick Revive Perk-A-Cola.

There are a total of 108 Augments available in Black Ops 6 Zombies at launch, available for every single Perk-A-Cola, Ammo Mod, and Field Upgrade. However, there are two classes of Augments that you can choose for your equipment, divided into Major and Minor categories.
Every item has 6 Augments to choose from, 3 Major and 3 Minor. Now among these 6 unique Augments, only 1 Major and 1 Minor Augment can be equipped on your chosen item. The image above shows all six Augments of the Speed Cola perk, and you can have Free Faller and Quarterback on it for example; after you unlock them of course.
How To Unlock Augments in Black Ops 6 Zombies?
You can unlock Augments in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies after reaching level 11 so that you’re able to research them. To research an Augment, all you have to do is to choose them, and then play the game to earn XP toward unlocking it. This gives more reason to play Zombies in Black Ops 6.
Overall, the Augments can boost the power of the players, pushing it a little easier to reach the higher rounds. However, according to the CoD Zombies content creators like MrDalekJD, zombies in Black Ops 6 mean real business, which could make it a fair fight if we access the helping hand of the Augments.
