While Call of Duty Infinite Warfare seems to be shaping up nicely, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered is certainly turning more heads. Not only is the entire campaign being redone, a large portion of the multiplayer is getting a new coat of paint as well.
The multiplayer got a bit of a presentation at PAX, highlighting the new graphics. The game certainly looks better. But as is to be expected it looks and plays just like Call of Duty 4. The gameplay is slower and more deliberately paced than past entries, lacking the movement abilities like jet packs and wall running. But fans have been clamouring for
But fans have been clamouring for the series to return to its roots. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare has not received the best reception. The remaster of Modern Warfare has certainly brought in more interest in the title because you can only delve back into the past if you invest in the future. The remaster is only available with certain editions of the game. There are currently no plans to release it on its own, but that will likely change in the future.
