Call of Duty is one of the longest-running series, ranging from entries from the various World Wars, modern-day skirmishes, and futuristic battles even across space stations. To this day, the series still makes a crazy amount of money for both the companies developing the entries and Activision especially. With that, it’s no surprise that the cash cow has kept making new entries to bring in sales and player interest. This year is no different. As of today, Call of Duty: Vanguard is now available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. You can find a trailer for the game below.

Launch Trailer (ft. Jack White “Taking Me Back”) | Call of Duty: Vanguard

Call of Duty: Vanguard is set during the World War II era, seeing you take on the role of four distinct characters across various fronts. As you rise from the ashes, you’ll slaughter countless hostile forces to take back your land from the Axis powers. All while these stories unify to create what would be known as Task Force One, the original Special Forces. The website goes further into these stories:

Through the gripping narrative and remarkable journey of these steeled soldiers, players will experience influential battles of World War II as they engage enemies across the Eastern and Western Fronts of Europe, and fight for the free world throughout the Pacific and North Africa. Whether dogfighting over the Midway Islands, defending Stalingrad with a sniper’s precision, airdropping over France, or blasting through advancing forces in North Africa, this is a deeply engaging and raw campaign, with the signature combat you’ve come to expect from Call of Duty. Test your mettle across beautiful but battle-scarred war fronts as hope strives to triumph over conflict.”

Featuring another installment of the title’s multiplayer, plus a gripping Zombies mode from the team at Treyarch, there’s plenty to love this year. Will you be playing Call of Duty: Vanguard on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox? Let us know!
