Call of Duty is a franchise that has grown a lot in the past years. With the battle-royale genre taking over the gaming industry since Fortnite appeared, which is going at full-throttle with the new season. Other games have tried their luck as well. Some have disappeared, like Spellbreak, while others are standing strong and getting sequels, just like Call of Duty’s case. A couple of weeks before Call of Duty Warzone 2 releases, Call of Duty Warzone updates are still on the table. This time the game is getting its last major content update until the sequel arrives in November.
Call of Duty Warzone Updates might stop once the sequel arrives
There are a lot of games that claim the “x” update will be the last. I mean, we saw how many times Terraria has announced that just to get another final update later. So, we can’t be too sure about Call of Duty Warzone updates stopping but, so far it is rumored it’ll be like that. Yet, for those waiting until the sequel gets here, this new major update brings new and old stuff. This is something good for players that are just waiting for the sequel to arrive.

The update brings some new weapons, balance changes, free calling cards, and more. Plus, it also has some content that is returning until Call of Duty Warzone 2 releases. The game will have some of the best game modes rotating until October 20. This is perfect for people who were not able to play some maps or game mods. Some of them were only included in certain Call of Duty Warzone updates so it is great to see them come back. Beyond that, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is also launching soon. It is definitely going to be a packed year for Call of Duty and we just hope to continue receiving quality content from this longstanding franchise.
