The increasingly popular Cameo website closed 2020 with a high portfolio count. More than 10,000 distinctive talents joined the site due to the continuing hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With more being featured on the website, it’s very possible to find one of your favorite actors and pay them to do a little video for you.

Despite the pandemic forcing many to stay at home, celebrities have created a unique platform for people to use as gifts for others. Bookings on the website grew 350% from just 2019-2020. Due to its breaking numbers, the company has further developed its executive team. Former Bustle Digital Group chief financial officer Deb Schwartz has been hired as the company’s new CFO. In addition, former LinkedIn executive Brian Frank is the chief operating officer. Lastly, former Quibi chief technology officer Rob Post was brought on to pilot Cameo’s tech and engineering organization.

Originally launched back in 2016, Cameo is a personalized celebrity video website that gives stars a platform to produce individualized videos for paying users. From happy birthdays to congratulatory speeches, you can look up from a wide range of celebrities to help you out. Mick Foley can say that your granddad is awesome; Brian Baumgartner could commend your spouse for that office promotion; Laz Alonso can compose a positive message for your best friend. Gilbert Gottfried himself has accumulated six figures a month by using the website.

For the gamers here, Yuri Lowenthal, James C. Burns, Grey Delisle-Griffin, and many others are also on Cameo.

Have you tried using Cameo to have your favorite athlete, content creator, or actor make a video for someone else? Right now it’s possible for a lot of people since it’s available in 178 different countries. Is it worth paying for a celeb video? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
