Do you want to know if you can get a Shiny Stunky in Pokemon Go? Shiny Stunky is Poison/ Dark type Pokemon, first released in October 2018 for the Halloween event. However, unlike the regular version, this variant is a bit harder to find in the wild and primarily available in particular research tasks and during special events. Nevertheless, this unique Stunky form is rare and powerful, so it’s worth the effort if you look forward to adding one to your team. This guide will tell you if you can get a Shiny Stunky in Pokemon Go.
Getting Shiny Stunky in Pokemon Go
You can not get Shiny Stunky in Pokemon Go at the moment. However, normal Stunky will appear in Pokemon Go during the Pokemon Go Rising Shadow event, which started on May 22, 2023, and will end on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Therefore, it will appear more frequently during this event, but unlike other Pokemon, you cannot catch Shiny Stunky. Also, Golbat, one of the other Pokemon that appears in the event, does not have the shiny version.
Along with Stunky, trainers will also get a higher chance to capture Pokemon such as Ekans, Koffing, Houndour, Poochyena, and Skorupi. In addition, you can try to catch Shiny versions of those Pokemon since they will appear more frequently than usual. The main attraction of the event is Shadow Mewtwo, which will appear in five-star shadow raids. Also, four research tasks allow players to collect rewards apart from one-star and three-star shadow raids. In addition, Rising Hero Avatar Pose is available during the Rising Shadow event.
