Getting to your first Spire in Enshrouded is a pretty big deal. Once you look over the top of the tower, you’re immediately met with everywhere you want to explore. It’s sort of like when The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was first announced, and Todd Howard was telling people where they’d be able to go. The first thing you probably take note of, especially if you have the Glider, is where you can glide and land without immediately dying. Make sure you cross the red Deadly Shroud off your landing list. Since so much of the world is covered in it, can you get through the Deadly Shroud in Enshrouded?
How To Get Through the Deadly Shroud in Enshrouded
The Deadly Shroud will lift and become a regular Shroud after you progress some more and strengthen the Flame in Enshrouded. Chances are that if you can’t get to an area because the Deadly Shroud is just too vast to get through, you need to strengthen the Flame. In our experience, we located the Ancient Spire in the Low Meadows and tried to just glide over it. We then walked around it only to be met with even more Deadly Shrouds.
We gave up and instead decided to locate the other craftspeople we were missing and find the necessary strengthening resources. When we finished and opened the map of Embervale, we noticed that the areas that were once Deadly Shrouds had changed to normal, blue Shrouds. That same Spire’s Flame did mention that you could “fight back the Shroud and unveil the peaceful glades lost beneath,” but it isn’t very clear what that means. Fortunately, you won’t need to worry as you keep progressing through the story and engaging in quests because the Deadly Shroud will lift.
