The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: Can You Repair Weapons?
Since the durability of weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild seems to be so low, we’re always picking up weapons along the way, and sometimes they aren’t very great weapons. This is pretty irritating, considering you could have a Guardian Sword with 20 Attack that can break within 2-3 fights, and have to replace it with a Torch that only has 2 Attack. It’s always a gamble whether you will find another decent weapon or if you will just have to go without for the time being.
However, being able to repair weapons could make the game arguably too easy, and if it is an option, it should be an end-game feature in the eyes of many gamers. Below, we will find out whether that is even possible. So, can you repair weapons? Let’s find out.
The answer is no. At this point, and there is no way to repair weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As much as this upsets players, it keeps the game interesting and constantly changing. Being forced to pick up weak weapons will surely test your fighting ability and force you to be creative with you techniques, as opposed to a game where you could find a very strong weapon and continuously repair it every time it breaks.
However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. You can repair a few weapons, but only specific ones. Among these are:
- Lightscale Trident
- Ceremonial Trident
- Master Sword
While these items can all be repaired, they are pretty pricey and require quite a bit of resources in order to fix them up. It’s best not to waste your more powerful weapons on weak enemies, nonetheless.
