Cardi B and Offset are taking the divorce route again and it seems this time it’s for real. The estranged couple reached another breaking point in their on-again off-again marriage last month, with the rapper filing for divorce after six years together. At the time, a rep for the couple claimed their divorce had nothing to do with cheating rumors but had been a long time coming. Barely 24 hours after the filing, Cardi B went public with news of her third pregnancy, crediting her then-unborn child with helping her pull through the twists of life.
Offset and Cardi B appeared to reunite this month following the birth of their third baby. The 31-year-old shared a shot of herself in the hospital post-delivery, watching on affectionately as her husband carried their son, while daughter Kulture cradled her new baby sister. It turns out the sweet family photo was no indication that they would put the divorce proceedings on hold. Things have only progressed from bad to worse since then as the ensuing drama becomes more heated.
Cardi B Hits Back at Offset’s Cheating Allegations
This week, Offset went off on his estranged wife on social media, accusing her of cheating while pregnant. Things heated up when Cardi B decided to go live on social media. According to E!, Offset turned to the comments to accuse his estranged wife of infidelity during the live session, writing,
“U f–ked with a baby inside tell the truth.”
Soon after, Cardi B fired back by posting “AND DID!!!!!!” on X, leading to speculations that the new mom just owned up to Offset’s allegations. She further threw daggers at her estranged husband in the X post, chipping in that “A hurt Nikka will do the unthinkable.” The WAP rapper continued her heated hitback on Instagram Live, hauling more verbal affronts at her soon-to-be ex-husband. She revealed that while she remained thankful for their three children together, she regrets him. Cardi wrote,
“But f–k you, regret you. I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you.”
Cardi B went on about Offset always threatening to take things away from her after the divorce just because she chose to move on. Going further, she implied an ugly divorce proceeding lay ahead for them as they battle it out in court. She fired,
“It’s no fun when Mama’s got the gun, right?” she asked. “Now we’re going to court war, right?”
This isn’t the first time Cardi B and Offset have become entangled in divorce drama. The two, who geared off their relationship in 2017 have endured a tumultuous relationship riddled with claims of infidelity from both parties. After several breakups and makeups, it appears Cardi B and Offset are finally resolute to make a clean cut from each other this time around regardless of the brutal aftermath.
