Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are often the center of marriage rumors. However, things may be going from bad to worse in their relationship. The country music superstar may be thriving in her career and even recently replaced Katy Perry on American Idol. However, behind the scenes, her marriage is said to be at a breaking point. Those close to the singer are said to fear the worst for her and Fisher.
Sources reveal that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are spending much of their time apart and are “struggling” despite putting on a happy face. The pair is also said to have been ignoring their wedding anniversary for the past three years.
Carrie Underwood and Husband Mike Fisher’s Marriage Is Reportedly in Crisis
“They’re at their breaking point, and friends are worried the pair have fallen out of love,” a source said in the August 12 edition of In Touch Weekly. “Carrie is getting tired of faking it. It’s heartbreaking, but the marriage is clearly in crisis,” the insider added.
The outlet also reveals that Underwood and Fisher haven’t walked a red carpet together since 2022. In addition, the former hockey player “never shows up to her events anymore.”
Fans have also reportedly noticed that the couple doesn’t appear to spend much time together. Some even called her out for spending little time with their two children.
Meanwhile, Mike Fisher is said to be discouraged by Carrie Underwood’s habit of putting her career above her family. The retired athlete is said to believe that his wife should spend more time at home, but she allegedly doesn’t agree.
“It’s like she’s living a nightmare at home, because they’ve been arguing so much,” the informant dished. “She thinks he’s jealous and controlling, and he accuses her of being ‘too Hollywood’ and of putting work first.”
Perhaps Carrie Underwood’s American Idol gig will give her some extra time to spend with her family. However, fans seem to have noticed cracks in the marriage.
