Carrie Underwood fell under heavy fire as she updated her Instagram from her kitchen while rocking a sporty look three days ago. In a photo shared last weekend, the 40-year-old country singer leaned over her kitchen counters while outfitted in spandex workout pants and a sweatshirt, but it wasn’t her outfit that was sparking negative comments.
Promoting the BODYARMOR drinks brand she is signed to, Carrie smiled for a glossy shot while posing with a bottle of the sports beverage. All smiles as she earned herself some endorsement cash, the Fit52 founder was met with a harsh response — fans straight-up didn’t recognize her, with many alleging that she’s had plastic surgery.
Carrie Underwood Smiles For The Camera On Instagram
Looking flawless as she posed backed by a fruit bowl, Carrie rested her arms on a swanky, marble countertop as she held a bottle of BODYARMOR and with a box of the brand’s product in front of her.
Showing hints of her toned figure in skintight black pants and a hoodie bearing the BODYARMOR logo, the American Idol winner added pops of white and pink from her top, matching the pink-tinted beverage she was holding and sending the camera a smile. Sporting her signature blonde locks down, Carrie rocked a perfectly applied face of matte foundation and blush, also rocking a glossy lip.
Posting jointly with the brand she was signed to in 2021, Underwood wrote: “Kicking off the busy weekend with my @DrinkBODYARMOR FLASH I.V. Sticks 💯 It’s a must while working out or on the go! Zero Sugar ✅ 2,220mg + electrolyte.”
Fans Asking Who Is This?
Leading the way in the comments with over 600 likes is a fan who replied: “This doesn’t remotely look like Carrie.” Agreeing, another said: “Who is that in the photo? AI doing overtime.”
“Literally didn’t recognize her. Wow,” a third said. Similar comments manifested throughout, with further users suggesting that the photo had been AI-generated, although some wondered if Carrie had been under the knife. “Is this AI or has she gone down the rabbit hole of plastic surgery?” one fan asked.
Carrie is often assumed to have had work done to her face following a 2018 fall that required 40-50 stitches. The star has, however, never confirmed going under the knife. “I’m on some magazine every other week for something crazy. It’s a little sad because the truth is just as interesting. I wish I’d gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this [scar] look better,” she has stated.
Fans, however, tend not to accuse Carrie of being fake when it comes to her rock-hard workout body.
