Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl revealed 2 new characters at this year’s Gamescom. Kotaku is reporting that Catdog and April O’Neil, the former from the self-titled show: Catdog and the ladder is TMNT’s favorite, yellow-clad, news reporter. After first seeing this game back in July, these two (or three technically speaking), bring the grand total of the roster at a modest 16 characters. For now. Here are the other 14 characters that Catdog and April O’Neil will be joining:
- Danny Phantom from Danny Phantom
- Helga Pataki from Hey Arnold!
- Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Lincoln Loud from The Loud House
- Lucy Loud from The Loud House
- Michaelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Nigel Thornberry from The Wild Thornberrys
- ‘Oblina from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
- Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants
- Powdered Toast Man from The Ren & Stimpy Show
- Reptar from Rugrats
- Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob SquarePants
- SpongeBob SquarePants from SpongeBob SquarePants
- Zim from Invader Zim
April O’Neil was pulling double duties at this year’s Gamescom. Not only appearing in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl but also appearing in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a heartfelt throwback to 90s beat-em-ups, as a playable character. It seems that her agility will play a big factor in both games.
Mario vs. Spongebob
I think that is safe to say that we are not even close to seeing the complete roster what with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate having upwards of 80 characters and counting. And with the library of characters in the Nickelodeon catalog, they will have more than enough options to get close to or ever surpass 80 characters, if they really wanted. They really should.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is due out by the end of this year for consoles. Which is industry jargon for the holidays. While the PC release date is a concrete October 5.
