Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were once one of Hollywood’s most likable couples. The couple, who met on the set of their film Step Up as young actors, were so beloved that fans were stunned when they announced their split in 2018. Although they seem to be great co-parents to their daughter, Everly, behind the scenes, things are no fairytale. In fact, Tatum and Dewan are still attempting to settle their divorce more than six years after calling it quits. Unfortunately, things are going well for the stars. Recently, Tatum even accused his ex of some shady conduct when it came to settling their split once and for all.
According to TMZ, Tatum claims in court docs that he’s tried to settle all aspects of his divorce with Dewan. However, he’s been unsuccessful. The Magic Mike star says he’s rejected and ignored all of his attempts to close the book on their marriage. The actor also stated that his ex seems to be attempting to drag things out on purpose.
Channing Tatum Is Ready To Move On From Jenna Dewan for Good
The issues that still need to be sorted out include some pretty important topics. The duo reportedly still need to finalize plans for child support, spousal support, and the division of their shared assets. Meanwhile, Channing Tatum claims that he’s paid for most of their daughter’s major expenses, like health insurance and education. At this time, he and Jenna Dewan have no formal agreement about Everly’s expenses.
Recently, Dewan requested that their divorce cause be heard in two separate trials. However, he’s asking that it all be done in one to speed up the process. Both parties have clearly moved on. Tatum is currently engaged to actress Zoe Kravitz. Meanwhile, Dewan is engaged to actor Steve Kazee, whom she’s about to welcome her second child with.
Despite all of the drama, sources claim that the former spouses still have a lot of love for one another. Sources tell People Magazine that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan don’t hate each other regardless of the divorce drama between them.
