Christina Hall and Josh Hall announced their decision to divorce in July (after almost three years of marriage), and in the following months, the reality TV star received a lot of harsh criticism. The dissolution of her marriage to Josh marks her third divorce in a relatively short time frame, and fans have been incredibly unkind with their comments about her relationships. This includes constant speculation that she is dating someone new, and if she posts about any man on Instagram, he is immediately assumed to be in the running to become husband number four.
Although fans may be quick to criticize Christina, they may not realize the anguish she goes through behind the scenes, and we got a glimpse into this in the promo for the upcoming series premiere of the home renovation show, The Flip Off. In the clip, she opens up to her first husband, Tarek El Moussa (and the father of their two children, Taylor and Brayden), about her problems and admits to having a nasty fight with Josh.
“We had a blow-up… middle fingers in my face,” she told her ex, who she appears to have remained on good terms with, and the former couple continues to co-parent. “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.” Later in the clip, she also noted how her children encouraged her to end the relationship (she shares two kids with El Moussa and another with her second husband, Ant Anstead). “The kids literally asked me to leave,” Christina said. “They told me he’s not nice to me. Why would I stick around?”

She also admits to struggling, stating, “I feel like I’m in a tornado all the time and I just can’t get out of it. Everything since like 2016 has been so hard and so horrible. It’s really taken a really bad toll on me.” Although it is not immediately clear what Christina is referring to, we do know that she and El Moussa ended their marriage in December 2016, so her comments could be about her first divorce and her subsequent relationship troubles.
Not long after her divorce from Tarek, she married Ant Anstead in 2018 but the pair divorced in 2010. During their marriage, they welcomed their son, Hudson. Then, in 2011, she married Josh Hall.
Fans are hoping Christina does not rush into another relationship and uses this time to reflect on herself and focus on her children. She has faced backlash from fans for how her relationships allegedly impact the kids. It may only be five months since the divorce announcement, but Christina looks like she is in a good place mentally and emotionally.
