Driving is a privilege, and an extremely dangerous one at that. However, thankfully, this Colorado woman showed TikTok viewers exactly what not to do when you get into an accident of any kind. A video posted to the account @JayRuthless shows the aftermath of a somewhat minor car accident. However, when one of the people involved began to drive away, social media put her on blast. The thirty-second clip has now reached over a million views, with plenty more on the way, it seems.
The TikTok starts out with two women on the side of a highway. One of the women is in the driver’s seat of their car, and the other is trying to stop her from driving away. The woman in the car then begins to drive away at a pretty slow speed. This allows the other woman to open her car door and try to stop her. The cameraman can even be heard telling the Colorado woman to stop. The clip also has the viral Jet2 Holiday advertisement playing over it.
Colorado Hit-And-Run Accident Shocks TikTok
As the Colorado woman continues to try and escape the scene of the crime, the viewers finally get a good look at her vehicle. Let’s just say, it’s not in the best shape. Her passenger side airbag has gone off, her door is open, and the front bumper is smashed. The woman then drives over pieces of the car as she attempts to get away. It would appear that the driver was under the influence of some kind of substance. Although most who commented on the video made a substance abuse-based joke regarding the woman. However, one joked that “She was pretending to be invisible.”
When the Colorado woman finally pulls away and hits the gas, it appears that the TikToker’s car took the worst of the impact. The back bumper as well as the trunk, are smashed up pretty good. Most of the pieces on the road seem to come from this vehicle as well.
As the TikTok ends and the Colorado woman drives off, the camera pans to the road filled with broken car parts and oil stains. Although there is also a glimpse of a third car that looked like it could have received some damage in the accident. It is unclear what truly occurred on this highway. However, hit-and-run accidents may not be as random as many think. Driving is a privilege, not a right, and it just might not be the right fit for everyone. Hopefully, there were no serious injuries in what can only be described as a very shocking situation.
